Himeras fl. (modern Salso or Imera Meridionale) is a river of Sicily. Two ancient rivers named Himeras cause some confusion, as one (modern Fiume Grande) flowed south to north emptying into the Tyrrhenian Sea while the other flowed north to south, emptying into the Gulf of Gela.
